Grant of Friendship Opportunity - Rocky Mountain Region - SIA

Rocky Mountain Region is offering a Grant of Friendship for one Soroptimist and companion or two Soroptimists traveling together, for a period of two to three weeks in the Spring of 2012 to include the Rocky Mountain Regional Conference to be held at Scottsbluff/Gering, Nebraska on April 27 – 29, 2012.

Rocky Mountain Region is a part of Soroptimist International of the Americas and has 25 clubs in Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming. Recipients are responsible for their own travel expenses to Salt Lake City, Utah, the first host club, and return to their home from Denver, Colorado. Recipients are also responsible for securing necessary passports and visas, and are expected to have medical and travel insurance. Spoken English is required. Most lodging, hospitality, meals, and ground transportation between the clubs will be provided by the Region.

Your application of no more than 500 words, preferably typewritten, should be in English and give details of your Soroptimist Service, occupation and interests, brief personal and professional information, and reasons for applying. Preference will be given to those who have not received a previous Grant of Friendship. Please include your full name, address, telephone and email, and attach a recent photograph.
Applications must be received by October 31, 2011 in order to have time to obtain visas.
